Are You For or Against The Government Giving NASA Tons of Money? Heres My Opinion.

My opinion on this is no, the government shouldn't keep giving NASA millions of dollars.NASA has not done anything to contribute to the more important issues in the world.The government should use that money so that they can address these issues in the world.Giving all this money is truly a total waste.America to all immigrants was a land of opportunity where they can truly be free,but since they have moved here most of the immigrants have only found despair.For when they leave their country they need to make money and they can't because most jobs won't accept them.So instead of wasting money on NASA the government should use their money to help the homeless and the poor.
NASA has over 2.6 billion in funds and use it on space exploration instead of real issues."With over 2.6 billion in funds available over the next five years to purchase cargo and crew services to support ISS operations, we would much rather be using this money to purchase cargo and crew services from American Commercial Companies than foreign entities"- Shana Dale.As stated in the last sentence we should by American cargo and crew services in stead of letting our money going to foreign countries. We let all our taxes fill the pockets of the people of NASA while they sit back and do nothing to benefit our country. This is like Donald Trump winning the lottery and everyone worldwide celebrating it in others words completely crazy. When they get rich our country becomes powerful then no other country would want to go to war with us. Then more immigrants will move in and America could become over populated. That would mean that more and more of our resources would be taken up.
Another so called 'project' that NASA is conducting is a competition for people to build a fully operational moon rover and the prize is one million dollars!That is how they spend 1 million dollars on a stupid competition that won't help any of us.The only useful project that they conducting was the Apollo 17 flight which was about 35 years ago. All they will do is send robots to take pictures and they look at them then in the next 5 or 10 years they will do it again.
As NASA puts up space stations to monitor Earth's surface what does it do to help us we are on the Earth it's surface is not that important to be looked at. They put millions and billions of dollars into getting pictures of Earth's surface and the other parts of the galaxy, but for what?What use is a few pictures of our Galaxy they won't improve our society or economy. We can already see space from the Earth these pictures are completely useless they just do these things to make it seem as if they are doing something. But NASA is just spending money and their so called 'research' is just a big cover-up so they seem to the public that they are doing something.
In conclusion, NASA is only trying to show that they do something to help but they don't at all. NASA is just a money spender the biggest one probably they will do explorations to try and show they are doing something.But all it does is hurt our economy even more and take huge chunks of money out of our taxes. That is my opinion on how NASA spends its millions of dollars.
